The Role

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are assessed and costed accurately and efficiently. You will support operational performance while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate repair estimates and invoices in line with required timelines and service level agreements

• Manage repair costs and support site profitability

• Carry out vehicle assessments, including total loss evaluations and repair methodology reviews

• Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards (e.g. BS10125)

• Liaise with customers, insurers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth process

• Identify and report issues that may impact quality, cost, or delivery

About You

• Strong technical knowledge of body and paint repair

• Proven experience in vehicle estimating

• Experience using estimating systems (e.g. Audatex, Glassmatix or similar)

• Familiarity with repair method systems and evaluation tools

• Relevant training/accreditation (e.g. Audatex certification or equivalent experience)

• ATA accreditation (or willingness to achieve it)

• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

• Organised, methodical, and customer-focused approach
